The Guardian Sustainable Business Awards
Following on from 2014's awards at the Royal Institute of British Architects, The Guardian Sustainable Business Awards took place in the inspiring auditorium at the Crystal in April 2015.
Guests arrived and departed via cable car, offering a unique view of the architecture of the Crystal. Upon arrival they were greeted with an array of cheese and cocktails from Fair Trade suppliers whilst they networked in the large reception area, giving them views of the river through our floor to ceiling glass walls.
The awards were held in our large auditorium and also screened in the reception area for late arrivals. After the awards all guests were treated to additional food and given time to network with one another whilst taking in the views. When leaving the event each guest was handed a goody bag which included a variety of sustainable treats including food, drink and even lightbulbs!
21 awards were handed out during the evening, viewed in-person by around 300 guests from 150 different companies.
“We were very proud to host the Guardian Sustainable Business Awards at the Crystal. There was a great brand fit between the Crystal’s green credentials and Guardian Sustainable Business’ objective to create meaningful dialogue around the changes facing organisations today. There is a great flow in the spaces at the Crystal that really worked for both informal networking and the official part of our evening.”
